December 2021-Each year Salem Co-operative Bank is a drop-off location for the Toys For Tots Program, hosted by the Marine Corp and organized through the Salem Police Department. Both employees and customers generously donate new toys to help bring the magic of Christmas to children less fortunate.
Toys For Tots helps to ensure that every child has a new toy at Christmas. A new toy can help to provide hope to these children and raises their self-esteem. It gives them the opportunity to see compassion in the good that people do, and to observe the success that they can achieve, as modeled by the positive influence of the Marines.
Remembering the joy and excitement of a new toy makes us happy to imagine the joy that we are helping to bring to these children. Thank you to all who donated.
