On Wednesday August 16, 2023, Salem Co-operative Bank in conjunction with the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce held the Annual Hidden Jewel Awards Celebration, which was developed in 2008. The awards are intended to recognize and celebrate women who have made an outstanding contribution to society or the community, shown dedication to a cause or touched the life of individuals in a significant way.
We are honored each year to review nominations for women in our communities who have consistently gone above and beyond and who are truly hidden jewels. “What they do”, they do because of who they are. The stories received from friends, family, co-workers, and local organizations about the nominee’s impact have touched our hearts.
Our communities would not be the same without “hidden jewels” who continuously raise their hand to volunteer, get things done and make a positive impact. Congratulations and thank you to all of our award winners for making our communities a better place.
