Beginning October 1st and running through December 15th, Salem Co-operative Bank ran a food drive in both the Salem, NH and Methuen, MA branches. The picture above represents the items that were collected in the month of October in the Salem branch. Items were donated by employees and customers and distributed equally among the following food pantries: Lazarus House, We Care Charity, Food For The Hungry, Bread of Life and Bread and Roses.
So many people struggle from food insecurities in our towns and our team at Salem Co-operative Bank is proud to have been able to help those in need. The stories that we heard when making these deliveries touched our hearts. The number of people that the food pantries serve is alarming and they were so appreciative of our donations.
We would like to send a great big thank you to our employees and customers who participated in our food drive. It takes a village.
