Salem Co-operative Bank on behalf of its philanthropic corporation, Salem Community Benefit, donated $25,000 to The Derry Friendship Center. The mission of The Derry Friendship Center is to “reduce the stigma associated with substance use and providing a safe space for peer-based support for people in all stages of recovery”.
The Center’s operating expenses are dependent on community support. They recently discovered broken truss beams that were in desperate need of repair. Our donation will help with these much-needed repairs. Visit us on Facebook to learn more.
