COVID-19: A message to our customers Posted in News | March, 2020 print friendly version

At Salem Co-operative Bank, we are closely monitoring the latest news and updates surrounding the Coronavirus.  We are following regulatory guidelines to ensure the health and wellbeing of our customers, employees and communities, our top priority.  Our employees are regularly reminded to follow the CDC’s guidelines on personal hygiene and avoiding contact with people who are sick.  Any employee who feels unwell or has a fever will be asked to stay home and contact a health care provider.

Our cleaning crew is taking extra precautions to disinfect daily with EPA-approved products and our branches have hand sanitizer available in the lobbies and at every station.

We’re here to help make your banking accessible in times of need.  With Online Banking and our Mobile Banking app you can bank anytime, anywhere.

If you aren’t already enrolled in our Online Banking, you can enroll today at www.salemcoop.com.  Then simply drop off, scan or email us your application.  We will email you with a temporary password to get you started.  Once you have successfully signed into Online Banking, go to your app store to download our Mobile Banking app for added convenience.  You’ll be banking from the comfort of your home or on-the-go in no time.

In addition to following the CDC at  https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html and WHO at https://www.who.int/health-topics/coronavirus guidelines to stay healthy, we also encourage you to take steps to protect your confidential information as well.  Remember, the bank will never contact you by phone, email or through our website to request your social security number, account number, passwords or PINs. However, if you contact us, we may ask for information to confirm your identity.

We encourage you to continue to exercise good judgement in your daily lives. We are committed to operating a safe and clean environment and will continue to follow the guidance of the public health authorities. We will provide updates as needed.
