October 21, 2021-Salem Co-op employees Regina Kallini and Tina Brown donated their time to help with the registration process at the Annual Greater Salem Boys and Girls Club Auction. Bank President, Ann Lally, donates multiple items each year and fills a table of bidders at the live auction. This year Sarah Rastello, SVP Retail welcomed the guests to the auction, as Ann was on a trip that she purchased at last year’s auction. Last year the GSBGC opened the bidding to an online auction which began two weeks prior to the live auction, giving donors and employees an opportunity to participate.
This year SCB employees won bids on items such as pocketbooks, vacations, gift certificates, wine tastings and gift baskets, which helped raise $350,000 for the Club. The Bank has been a proud sponsor of this event since its inception in 1987. Kids are our future and what a better way to help invest in the future of our community.
